- 1 pound green beans, trimmed
- 4 slices Shroomacon, diced
- 3 cloves garlic, minced
- Salt, pepper, garlic and onion powder to taste
- 1 tablespoon oil
- In a skillet, cook the Shroomacon over medium heat until crispy leaving the "grease" in the skillet. Once crispy, chop into pieces.
- Add the minced garlic to the skillet and cook over medium heat for 1-2 minutes, or until fragrant. Be careful not to burn the garlic. It will taste bitter.
- Add the blanched green beans to the skillet and toss to coat them with the Shroomacon grease and garlic. Season with salt and pepper to taste.
- Continue cooking the green beans over medium heat for 3-4 minutes, or until heated through and slightly tender. Stir occasionally to ensure even cooking.
- Remove the skillet from heat and sprinkle the cooked Shroomacon pieces over the green beans. Toss to combine.
- Transfer the green beans with garlic and Shroomacon to a serving dish and serve.
